Ilaria Ballarini

Ilaria Ballarini graduated cum laude in Architecture in 2007, has achieved her PhD in “Technological Innovation for Built Environment” in 2011 at Politecnico di Torino. She is an Associate Professor in building physics and building energy systems at Department of Energy of Politecnico di Torino, where she teaches in bachelor’s and master of science’s degree courses of Architecture, Building Engineering and Energy Engineering. Her main research activity concerns the topics of building physics, energy modelling of buildings and building stocks, procedures for energy performance assessment and cost-optimisation, building energy audit and certification. She is author of about one hundred of publications, including books and book chapters, articles on international and national journals, and papers presented in international and national conferences.
